I began teaching Elementary Special Education in 2004 upon Graduation from the University of West Georgia with a Degree in Special Education.  I joined the CES family in August 2019!  I hold a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education from Piedmont College, as well as, a Specialist Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Lincoln Memorial University.  I am happily married to another Educator, Cory Nix. We have three children; Mackenna, Hudson, and AJ!  We enjoy attending all types of sporting events from youth to professional, and love to travel if we ever have spare time in our busy lives.  I am thankful for the opportunity to be able to impact students each day.
