I began teaching first grade in 2000. I taught first grade for 21 years before moving to second grade. I love teaching both!
I have a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood, a master's degree in Early Childhood, and specialist's degree in Instructional Technology. All three degrees are from the University of West Georgia. Go Wolves! In 2022, I also earned my National STEM certification.
I enjoy seeing our students involved in extra curricular activities.
I have been married to my husband, Jason, since 2006. We have a son, Jake, and a daughter, Claire. Both of our kids are proud to be Central Lions!
In my free time, I love to read, spend time with my family, and cheer on the Georgia Bulldogs! Go Dawgs!

Have your child listen to and read a variety of stories online! Recommended would be 1 book per day. Each book that is read/listened to will have a graphic organizer to be completed in the hard copy packets that can be picked up at school.
