CES Jr. Beta
The Junior Beta Club is a service, leadership club for upper elementary school students. It was instituted and is operated to reward merit, encourage effort, and promote high ideals among students. The Junior Beta Club was authorized by the National Beta Senate on July 22, 1961. Character, leadership, achievement, scholarship, and service became key words to the National Beta Club. Its motto became “Let us Lead by Serving Others.” Membership is based on honorable character, good mentality, creditable achievement, and commendable attitude. Students who had all As in 4th grade or all As the 1st nine weeks of 5th grade received an invitation to join.
