I began my teaching career in 2006. In 2008, I married my wonderful husband, moved to Carrollton, and joined the Central family. I have taught kindergarten, second, and fourth grade. I am currently the MTSS Coordinator for Central Elementary School.  I received my bachelor's degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Middle Tennessee State University, my master's degree in from Piedmont College,  and my specialist degree in curriculum and instruction from Lincoln Memorial University.  I strive to make a positive impact in each child I teach, and engage them in meaningful thinking and learning. I love watching children grow in their learning and surpass goals they have set for themselves.  I live in Carrollton with my husband, Mark, and our two children, Madelyn and MJ.
